25 Alternative TV & Movie streaming sites

Following your favorite Television show or watching the latest Movie now online isn’t as easy as it should be. Most large networks are now streaming their content but with large restrictions in place if you are not in the country of release.

There are many sites that have stepped up to deliver content, most teetering on the edge of illegality. The most famous being TV links taken down in October 2007.

Keeping away from the mainstream (read legal) sites, the list below all use and index TV & Movie content that is scattered across various sites and in different, competing formats.

01: SideReel
Our current favorite is SideReel, a self-described entertainment guide and community site for television and film enthusiasts. Here, you can be the guide, the critic, the expert, and of course a fan. The site is  wiki-style (the community post the links to the shows) and serves as a great video search site, the best part being the user posted Links to the TV shows and Movies.
The site is clean and the links work (the site links to some affiliated legal content but most links are to free sources).

02: Quick Silver Screen
Quick Silver Screen - (QSS) is an online video library streaming service that allows anyone to view and add video links. All links have been submitted by members. Unlike similar sites, you will be able to find a good assortment of movie classics. The site also hosts a number of forums where users can discuss their favourite shows and movies.

03: TV-Links cc
Fans of the now lost tv-links.com will feel at home here, tv-links.cc utilises a very similar theme and format and even hosts the same line up of great TV Shows and Movies as the since past original TV-Links.
