Wordpress CODA Free Custom Theme
It seems wherever you look online people are posting the top xx Wordpress themes to download. Going against the grain here at Fur Funk I am starting our worpress theme series with just one recomended theme.
These posts will contain themes that are free and also in some way have customised Wordpress to act more like a CMS. These are also themes that I have personally used in a project, so in effecct have been tested to an extent.
The WP CODA theme (July 23, 2008 Greg Johnson) is an elegant and simple CMS solution.
Great as an online portfolio this theme has been created by Greg taking the best parts of other code and adding his unique style. With a great working Slider and jQuery effects this theme oozes elegance.
Currently this theme works only with wordpress pages but Greg is already working on an update which will handle posts, contact forms and he has even promised the Themes Source files for ultimate customisation.
